Flexible Mounting: No-Drill or Screws

Our shower shelves can be mounted in two ways:

• No-Drill Mounting – perfect for smooth surfaces like glass and glazed tiles. Clean with isopropyl alcohol, install at room temperature, and let the adhesive cure for 24 hours. Maximum load: up to 5 kg.
• Screw Mounting – for maximum stability. Exact load capacity can be found on each product page.

Mounting Height and Placement

The optimal mounting height for a shower shelf is 100–120 cm from the floor. If installing two shelves, place the second 20–30 cm above or below the first for stable bottle placement. Avoid drilling into tile intersections for better durability. Use No-Drill where drilling is not desired, and always follow instructions for proper surface preparation.

Best Surfaces for No-Drill Kit

Glazed tiles, glass, and other smooth surfaces work well. Clean with isopropyl alcohol, dry completely, install at room temperature, and allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours. Avoid very rough or porous surfaces. Max load with No-Drill: up to 5 kg.

NICHBA shower shelves can be easily installed without screws or drilling into the wall. This is done using our No-Drill mounting kit, which includes 2 brackets and a tube of special adhesive.

Guide to Installing 20cm & 40cm Shower Shelves

Here are 5 simple steps to install our 20cm & 40cm shower shelves. These steps are also shown in the video guide below.

1. Clean the wall and brackets with acetone or rubbing alcohol. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease and loose particles like dust.
2. Place the shelf in the chosen area and prepare to align and mark the holes.
3. Take the brackets from the No-Drill kit. Ensure they are already wiped clean with acetone or rubbing alcohol before applying adhesive. Then apply adhesive in thin vertical lines on the flat side of the brackets.
4. Moisten the mounting area with clean water before attaching the bracket. 1. Align the horizontal edge of the bracket with the top of the marking. 2. Adjust the "screw head" vertically with the marking. Important: Make sure the shortest side is furthest from the center. Use a level to ensure each bracket is positioned correctly. Then make sure both brackets are level.
5. Once the brackets are glued and level, let them rest for 48 hours for the adhesive to set. After 48 hours, mount the shelf onto the brackets, and it’s ready to use in the shower cabin.
